I want to know if i made the right choice?

Alright so, i just had my dermatologist appointment today and it went alright i'd say. He is a professional derm who also does laser treatments. Ok so, i've been having acne problem since yearssss now. I'm 18 years old now. I've tried proactive for yearsss and it didn't really worked all too great for me. My college is starting very soon and i wanted to get rid of this problem as soon as possible. So, i wanted to get it checked with a dermatologist. I had some dryness around my nose and acne was still presence. He gave me a cleanser to use in morning and another at night. Along with this lotion which is to be used twice a day. This is about a 6 week to 2 months procedure. He showed me results of his customers and no doubt, they're magnificent. The main reason for me asking this question is the bill. I paid 159.00$ for these 3 things. Did i made the right choice? Please let me know, i'm kind of feeling worried :|.
