Is it narcissistic to cut people out of your life such as someone who is into drugs or intouch with you ex's ?

I just had a friend joke about me being narcissistic because I delete my old facbeook account and made a new one. I told him I am trying to create a new positive way of life and I only am adding people who add me and that I consider positive. I kinda find facebook to be over whelming and some people are now taking offense to me deleting my account, I could care less cause I am trying to worry about other things like my health and my real life ?? Is this narcissistic ? Or am I thinking like a narcissist ?
