Adopting a macaw/ finding a rescue?

Anyone know a good org. or site that adopts macaws in FL. I already checked Petfinder.com There is one in Tampa BUT they don't adopt where I am ( Flagler County ) because it's too far away. They were the only one. I grew up with big birds and also have taken in some difficult ones so I am not overly worried about adopting. I would RATHER adopt bc I feel bad buying a baby if I know that there are lots that need good homes? Are there really that many in shelters? I am guessing there are but all I can really find are Sanctuaries (sp?). Any help/ info would be great. thanks
