Old Old Hutch! Family Heirloom! Trying to Fix! Need help!?

I inherited a old hutch from my great aunt who ped away. It is amazingly beautiful and valuable, and i want to fix it. It has wheels on the legs, and fold down shelves. It has a huge crack on the bottom of the cabinet, it is unstable to stand. Any tips on how to fix the crack, and make it more sturdy. Also gl is very very very fragile. Super thin, any ideas if i should replace it with thicker durable gl or maybe make it into all wood, no gl. Any ideas will help. Please ist
