Would W.F. Buckley approve of the linking between CPAC, the Tea Party and their respective agendas?

As an intellectual, W.F. Buckley Jr would be at a loss to comprehend the status quo - political or otherwise. His was an age of thought and reason. This is an age of egocentric affiliation. The only difference between the political arena and that of the Super Bowl is that the former has yet to witness painted faces. I suspect that it is only a matter of time before it does.
