Getting revenge on an ex? is it worth it..?

Ok, today has been a long day. First I found out that the guy that I was in love with had a gf on the side, that I never knew about. He told her that I was his ex, and I never knew she existed til yesterday..Once I busted him and he confessed he told me that he was madly in love with the other girl, and he wanted to be friends with me..cool, I stay very calm and mature..I didn't even yell.All I said was I am happy that you found someone to make you happy, and I wish you and her the very best...yell right. Me and my friends were thinking of ways to getting his cheating, lying *** back! Well I have a guy friend and he knows the situation that im going through, and he volunteered to kick his ***,very badly...And also when we were dating he told me about how he owes so many thousands of dollars in fines, that he was suppose to pay off and he never did,and there is a warrant out for his arrest because of it..I want to call up to the police department, and tell on him to get him arrested? Should I? I know I sound cruel and mean, but he did me wrong and a "eye for a eye" He never even said he was sorry about cheating on me with his little groupie...but should i get my homeboy to kick his *** and call the cops on him?Or just let it go?
