Do i have to have dreads to wear a rasta cap?

The most important thing about representing Rastafarianism is knowing the origins. If you believe your African American roots to be strong enough in your identity and feel like you should show pride for your ancestors breaking away from slavery, then I say it doesn't matter if you have dreads or not. That's just a popular look that has unfortunately become more of a stereotype in the modern American (mostly uninformed) society.
